Garnacho to Chelsea is edging closer as the Blues step up talks with Manchester United

Garnacho to Chelsea is edging closer as the Blues step up talks with Manchester United

Garnacho to Chelsea is edging closer after the player’s blunt message to Manchester United over his dream move to Stamford Bridge.

The Argentine has been on Chelsea’s radar for months as the Blues look forward to strengthening their attack even more this summer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the player has reached an agreement on personal terms with Chelsea, but club-to-club talks remain difficult as the Blues don’t want to overpay for the winger.

Chelsea have reportedly valued Alejandro Garnacho for £30 million, which is way below Manchester United valuation of £50 million.

The Red Devils are said to be using Noni Madueke, who was sold to Arsenal for £50 million, as the benchmark for the price tag of Garnacho and therefore are not ready to enter into negotiations with offers below that limit.

Despite the Reds’ willingness to sell the player due to disciplinary issues, they are also not ready to sell the player cheaply, as they see him to be one of the most promising talents in the Premier League.

The Blues, in recent weeks, reportedly left talks for the player due to the fee United is requesting, but according to reports this morning, Chelsea is back in negotiations with Manchester United.

This was fueled by the player’s blunt message he sent to Manchester United, asking them to allow him to join Chelsea or stay and not play football for 6–12 months.

The Blues believe that the player’s message will force United to lower their valuation in order to help them strike a deal.

As it stands, the player is out of the Manchester United squad, as Ruben Amorim made it clear to him before the end of the season that he is not part of his plans.

Garnacho is now patiently waiting for Chelsea to come to an agreement before the window ends.

Manchester United in recent years has  experienced bad and unacceptable attitudes from players. The likes of Sancho, Rashford, Antony, Ronaldo, and Garnacho are all victims of that.

The club sees that these players don’t want to obey certain principles and that players with such attitudes will not be entertained because nobody is above the club.

Alejandro Garnacho has had so many issues with Man United coaches lately. He was accused of liking a post that was criticizing his own manager, Erik ten Hag, and Lisandro Martinez back in 2023.

After Ten Hag was sacked and Ruben Amorim came in September last year, the player reportedly had a series of issues with the manager.

In their last game of the season, the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur, the player reportedly in his post-match press made an emphasis of his playing time, particularly in that game.

He was not happy to be brought on 70+ minutes after being played so much in the group stages through to the finals. This didn’t sit well with Ruben Amorim.

The manager, according to reports, made Garnacho aware in front of his Manchester United teammates that he must find a club when the transfer window opens because he is not part of his plans.

With this, there has been a lot of interest from many teams, but the player’s preference is Chelsea.

Manchester United’s position on Garnacho remains the same; they are open to any offer within the region of £50 million before they allow the player to leave.

The Reds are hoping to get money for their next target, which is Carlos Baleba from Brighton & Hove Albion, after completing the Sesko deal.

Garnacho is not the only player set to leave Manchester United. The Reds are hoping to see about 4 players leaving the club this summer transfer window.

Players like Antony, Sancho and  Tyrell Malacia are all on the list of unwanted players by Ruben Amorim.

The Club wants to do more in the transfer market after completing 3 big deals, but it will only happen if they are able to raise money from player sales.

With Brighton requesting a hefty fee of £112 million for Baleba to leave, Manchester United needs to sell these players to raise money for their next target.

As of now there is no competition, but the Reds want to be quick to avoid rivals competing with them for Baleba.

The player has agreed to personal terms with United, but everything depends on player sales now.

There are high hopes at the club that the sales of Garnacho, Antony, Sancho, and Tyrell Malacia will facilitate their ability to secure their next transfer target before the window ends.

That message is disrespect to Manchester United. They should just not sell him but be moved to under 15 till his contract expires. He’s not serious as a player

If he can do this at Manchester United, what makes Chelsea thinks that he can’t do same to them?
