After an opening bid of 75 million euros + 5 million in add-ons was rejected by RB Leipzig, Florian Plettenberg has reported that the Magpies have again submitted a whopping offer of 80 million + 10 million euros in add-ons.
With multiple reports suggesting that the player is willing to play for Manchester United keeping on resurfacing, Newcastle’s only chance is to outbid the Reds in order to convince RB Leipzig to force the player to sign for them.

And after the signing of Mbuemo and Matheus Cunha, the Reds are reportedly not willing to match that offer and therefore will look at other transfer options like Ollie Watkins and Vlahovic.
The Reds, despite Newcastle speeding up to sign their target, still remain calm on the deal. Transfer News Live reported that Manchester United is waiting for the player to choose them as his number one target so that they will start negotiations with RB Leipzig.
The deal now depends on Sesko after he requested to make a decision as to which club he wants to go to. His decision will be key for both clubs and will ease and ensure faster negotiations.

But unexpectedly, the Reds faced competition from Newcastle, who are willing to pay whatever Leipzig is requesting for the player.
This was fueled by Alexander Isak’s willingness to leave and join Liverpool. The Magpies now want to find his replacement before letting Isak leave.
As of now, despite Newcastle’s huge offer, the Reds still stand a chance to sign the player.
